Loki is not a Villain - He is a God

A lot of people name Loki a villain, but this is not true. He can´t be called that because this is a human characterison - Loki in Marvel as in Religion is a God. He shares Odin´s Blood and in Marvel he is a Prince of Asgard and a Jotun - asgardians are Gods and Loki is even more. He is a Jotun and we know nothing about their race - even though it seems they are take action without regret and mercy. They are strong and scary figures to be reckon with.
And in Religion he is half giant and wind-giant. Overseen by his father and his brothers due to his height. It lies in his nature to be frickle and unsteady.

In Greek History and Myth the mirror image to North Myth, the gods are very gruesome. Murder, torture, violence have happened but no one is calling them Villains just as Odin uses rape, violence, torture, murder and cruelty to his benefit, no one is calling him a Villain or Thor who is crashing and ripping the heads off of hunderts of Jotuns. In the Name of Asgard.

So what really makes a villain ? Who is the villain in a Story ? Cause out of the villains view very often the Hero is the villain in their Story. But if the Hero kills everyone of the 'Bad Guys' it´s heroic ? Is their live less worth because they´re from another species that frightens us ?
How many of the Centauri were killed ? How many Jotuns ?

In the end the Heroes are simply murderers too - justiying it in their course to save others.

Thor 3 and Loki dead ?!

I´ve seen a lot of speculation about Thor 3 theme being ragnarok - the end of all things because Chris Hemsworth simply being asked about his idea for Thor 3 implied it would be  a great Story. It´s not even out if that is true. Cause the script wasn´t even written at that point.
Just like the idea of Amora or the enchantress - it isn´t likely to happen. It was just an answer of Tom Hiddleston for a love interest for Loki. And the most don´t like the idea because Loki is already a pain ridden character in the movies and this characters just fed in the pain in the comics. No happy end in sight.

And now they come up with the idea and enlarge it that this is his final blow. Even though he signed up for more movies than 3 - there are at least 2 more to go. And I´m sure if they decide to continue the work with him he will sign a new contract. For Loki is a real beloved character - even if he is a you know bad kinda guy.
(You know he killed a few people on earth right ? *SCHHHHHH*)

And besides he already - well - nearly died in Thor 2 and to do it in the next one again isn´t pretty smart. And Kevin Feige is smart. And a sadist at some extend.

And even though I really would like to see the Storyline of Kidloki on screen I don´t think that will work - and that´s just it right ? We still are assuming of the things we read in the comics but the Comics are a lot different from the movies on screen. In characterisation and ark.

In that not only in the Thor characters but all marvel heroes from Iron Man to Cap. So I still have hope they will go into a whole different direction and catch the viewer by surprise. And Feige being the master player that he is will surely come up with something incredible. It can only get better after seeing the guardians of the galaxy the viewers idea of things has pretty much expended. The Universe is much more complicated and bigger than we all thought. And I´m all exited for things going down with Thanaos.

The Love you never found as your own

You never failed to despise the wounds on your own
you tried to run to turn away
finding only shadows in the shade of an ideal
an idea far greater than it actually was
just a name just a name whispering in the shadows of your heart
echoing in the dark
you tried to run to turn away
but here you are
starring in the mirror
still in the shadows
still waiting for him
still torturing your innerself to be like him
crawling beneath expectations
fighting a hardening foam

Loki´s death : Planned ?

"This plan of yours is gonna get us killed !"

So does this actually mean, he plans to die in this battle, and this is also the reason he walks over the field to save Thor so his brother believes his death faux ?

I read that Loki long before this used a kind of spell to save him from dying on the battle field. And this means he knew he wouldn´t die. And even the words he decided to tell his brother were means to torture his sentiments.

Using his Brothers feelings - this seems most likely.

And the lines spoken as Odin are just feeding right into Thor´s feeling to avoid his responsibility as the heir of Asgard. But how long can he pretend to be Odin. And with Odin gone - and Thor on Midgard - he surely wants everyone to know what he did and that he is the legimate King of Asgard.

It´s more than likely that´s it isn´t enough for him to just have throne but to prove Thor that he is better than him and he wants to see him kneel before him. And the thing more delicious would be to Thor stand beside him just like he did - always in his shadow.

Odin´s Tale

Odin adverted to the temple after the battle and found a baby, suffering and left to die.
But is this the truth ?
Was Loki abandoned and left to die ?
It was a temple, first off, the same they found the casket in. A sacred place of the Jotun. Laufey could have left him there with guards to protect him. Small or not his status and his gender protected him among the Jotuns.
The guards could have been likely slain by the Asir. And Odin found him after the battle was over.

It´s left open for Laufey to know if his son is held captive by Odin or tortured and killed in Asgard to show the might and power of the Asgardians. His son was gone. They´re defeated and without the casket, they couldn´t do a thing about it.

'Odin is a murderer and a thief'

Could imply the slaughter and abductionof their kind and their heir. And the casket of cause. And we also don´t know, wether Laufey knew Loki could possibly be his son. After he learned that the younger heir of Odin showed him the way into Asgards chambers. But Laufeys way of thinking seems pretty similar to Loki´s. So he would not trust a Prince of Asgard just like that, would he ?

And Loki´s upcoming isn´t built on love or hate, but guilt and pity. Odin´s relationship to Thor was always deeper. So that he always felt left out and unappreciated. Due to his temper he always aimed to show off his abilities, his tricks as if to show off, look at me, praise me.

But even his powers are ridiculed - but with him gone, they call him a Master of Magic and not silver tongue or trickster.
That leaves the question, if they would have let him know that his work and strengh were admired, would that have changed his outcoming ?
Otherwise his passion to dominate his brother is so huge, due the feeling that he is so much more fitting to be a king, is overwealming and so he tries to prove that the brain, wit and intelligence is much more worthy of the throne than strengh and rage. But in the goal to win over his brother is for Thor to tell him in all honesty how amazing and better he is. And he wants him beneath him on his knees.

Like Iron Man said : A Diva. He wants to rule, be worshiped and looked up to. And in that lies the question, how much his parents influenced his life and how much is reasonably due to his being a Forstgiant.
How would he have turned out been raised as a giant ?
But then there´s also the question of his mother. And why there weren´t any female Jotuns. Or could they themselves give birth and all of them have both genders in general ?

But why did Loki then turn into human skin, if those races are not of the same kind ? Jotuns just have certain magic. Their only ability lies in the forming of ice and coldness.
Was it some kind of protective spell upon him ?
That points out the question what race or being his mother was.
And so if he was a magical being from beginning on - and what is his true form ?
He didn´t know who he was, so he did not  intentionally have his human form, it just breaks due immense coldness. And turns back without his doing. Can this be turned ? Turn Jotuns into men shape when they suffer from intense heat ?

And does that mean Frigga was actually not teaching him magic - but suppress his Jotun magic and showing him ways to control it ?
And even though their bound was so strong, she too didn´t intend to tell him who he was, because of Odins judgement ?
She didn´t want him to feel different but still told them children Story´s about the evil Frostgiants ?
Just as Odin told them how they defeated the Monsters of Jotunheim ?
Odin doesn´t alone wear the guilt of this. But Loki´s need to feel the love of Odin drives him up against a wall. So that he decides to destroy all Jotuns, to show his true loyalty, that he is Asir. So he shows that he has the might to destroy that race of Monsters. And so a true heir to the throne.
But Odin says No.
And all the unfulfilled desire turns into it´s reverse - a switch is turned out. And as he lets go. He knows wherever he is going, it´s better than staying here. And he goes on a journey of misery, crossing paths with dark creatures, findind other pathways and forces.
With just one thought in mind.

I am the rightful King of Asgard. I am a King. And I will take me a throne. And I will destroy everything that gets in the way.

THOR a female Hero ?

I´m really don´t like the idea. I would have welcome any new Hero. But taking one of the oldest characters and replacing them - is not an idea that´s well liked. Neither for the fans of the comics or movies.
So Thor is a fallen prince and now like Loki not worthy of the hammer anymore?
So a girl, the sister of the Odinson´s maybe ? Takes hold of the hammer and so also his power. But I´m sorry she is still not Thor himself. Even without his hammer - Thor is still Thor.

As if when someone in any way stole the power of Loki - is then Loki himself ?

It´s unlogical. Cause their names are not titels in any way, and I really think their creators could easily work on a real great female Hero if they wanted to.

The Black Widow

the scarlett Witch

the Enchantress

for example were really great charcters.

Lady Loki was a totally different theme - because Loki was himself cast into Sif´s Body. And not a totally different Hero. And he is also a shape shifter and it was a part of his character to turn himself into other people or animals.

I just dislike the idea of Thor turning into a side kick. For me as a female Thor Fan it was never about him throwing the hammer - but the development of his character. The Odinson. His struggles and twists and turns of his life. Either you are worthy of the hammer or you are not - to say after all he did he could become unworthy is just ridiculus.

And the fight Loki against Thor can just be with his Brother - because he is not fighting the power of Thor but Thor Odinson. His glorious brother. At very least he could want the power of the hammer for himself.
I wouldn´t vene wonder if he would help Thor to gain the hammer back - cause it´s him he wants to defeat.

Anyway. Not a fan of the new concept.

Loki´s upcoming

I´m still wondering about Loki´s upcoming in the first movie. Why is he so small ?
I presume that Laufey had a mate of another race. In myth Loki had also partners of many races - so maybe his father had so too.

And then again why did he change himself at the touch of Odin ... or would other Jotun´s change too if another being touched them ?

And if he changed willingly - why did he never change back while growing up ?
It seems just immense coldness changes him back and the touch of the casket.

Why can´t he form weapon out of ice like Jotuns do ? But it seems he needs to use magic that he learned by his mum and other spells he may learned by other creatures and other realms ?

Hollow tree

Drown in the hall
Down in between

Floating like a leave
In northern spring

Once more dancing
Once more breathing

Hiding in the hallow tree
Buried so deep

Burn me, grab me
Give me room to feel

A whole life worth
Down between your roots

Can you see me?
Can you safe me?

Please
Please

Safe me.
Just that.
